School Portal Allows Parents to View Attendance, Grades

APS began providing an on-line opportunity for you to partner with your student’s teachers and school staff in promoting your student’s academic achievement. Via the web-based Parent Portal tool, you will be able to see your student’s demographic and contact information along with attendance, grades, and schedule information. For middle and high school students, fees and transcript information will also be available.

Your Parent Portal account will grant you information access to any of your students enrolled in any APS school. Additional information including parent access instructions will be provided in early September.

News From Nutrition Services: PayPams Meal Payment System

 Nutrition Services has a new on-line and/or phone meal and ala carte payment system. The name of the system is Pams Lunchroom and it is provided through our current point of sale company, PCS Revenue Control Systems, Inc.

Pams Lunchroom will enable you to check account balances and make payments online or by phone. We want to make obtaining a meal or ala carte items as easy as possible for our students. If Pams Lunchroom is used, your student will not have to pay for meals in the morning and the lines will be faster at lunch time if students don’t have to pay as they go through to get their meal. When you register or anytime thereafter, you can set up e-mail notification when your student’s balance falls below a certain dollar value. Also, automatic payments can be scheduled.

What is the best news about this new payment system? It is absolutely free to our parents. Nutrition Services will be paying the service charge so you only pay for the meals and ala carte items. Also, the fifty cent discount still applies when you purchase meals in groups of ten days.

Please read the following information if you and your students are ready for the security and convenience of online or phone payments. One less hassle as your students rush out the door for school.

Setting up an account is as easy as 1, 2, 3.

Step 1 — Register with PAMS: Go to www.pamslunchroom.com or call 1-888-994-5100 to provide your student’s keypad number and billing information.

Step 2 — Choose your Payment Options: Make manual payments at your convenience or set up automatic payments based on your student’s balance falling below an amount that you determine.

Step 3 — Make a Payment: Pay by credit/debit card. You will receive an immediate confirmation that your payment has been received. (Payments take one to two business days to post to your student’s account at his/her school cafeteria.)

Manage Your Account: Simply enter your username and password to access your account at www.pamslunchroom.com, or call 1-888-994-5100. You can make payments, view your student’s account balance, view payment history, and change your payment preferences twenty four hours a day, seven days a week!

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does it take for my payment to be added to my student’s meal account at his or her school?

Your payment is verified immediately, while you are online at www.pamslunchroom.com or on the phone. The balance is added to your student’s meal account within 24 - 48 hours.

Can I set up automatic payments so that when the meal account balance falls below a certain level my account will automatically be charged?

Yes. You can arrange for the system to charge your account automatically when your student’s account reaches a pre-defined balance threshold. You will receive an email notification each time the automatic charge is made.

How can I know what my student’s account balance is?

You can review your account information at any time at www.pamslunchroom.com or by phone. You can also receive a low balance notification by email. To modify your email notification settings, log on to www.pamslunchroom.com, click “Manage My Account”, and click on “Payment Preferences” from the menu on the left side of the screen.

Can I view a summary of all the payments made on pamslunchroom.com?

Yes. When you log on to www.pamslunchroom.com, click “Manage My Account” and click on “Transaction History” from the menu on the left side of the screen.

Is my credit/debit card and bank information secure on the Internet?

Yes. www.pamslunchroom.com is a secure site and provides full protection for your personal information. We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with Federal regulations to guard your personal information.

Are there any costs for the service?

There are no costs to the parent to make a payment, check account balances, or payment history. Fees will be paid by the Aurora Public Schools Nutrition Services.

Can I get a refund after a payment has been charged to my account?

Yes. To receive a refund when your student withdraws from Aurora Public Schools or graduates, please contact the Aurora Public Schools Nutrition Services’ office, (303) 343-0295, ext. 28555.

What should I do if I forgot my password?

If you forgot your password, go to the log in screen at www.pamslunchroom.com. Click on “forgot password” and enter your username and reminder word. You will receive an email notification with your username and password.
